The first seven-footer in school history, Riiny was All-Conference at SUNY-Orange Junior College (NY), averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds per game…born in the Sudan, he came to Canada at age 15 and led both St. Mary’s HS and Father Lacombe HS to Calgary City titles in grades 11 and 12…one of the thousands of “lost boys of the Sudan”- now has a home here at StFX for the next three years!
