Veteran coach Doc Ryan is in his fourth year collaborating with friend and colleague Steve Konchalski after having worked together on the Canadian National Team coaching staff for a dozen years… Doc brings 25 years CIS Head Coaching experience to the X-Men, having coached the Dalhousie Tigers (men) for eight years and the St. F. X. X-Women for 17 years… An outstanding player, he was an All-Canadian at UQTR (where he led the nation in scoring) and an Atlantic Conference All- Star at St. F. X , as well as being a member of the Canadian Olympic team in 1980… Doc holds two degrees from St. F. X (B.A and B. ED.), as well as an M.A (Kinesiology) from Dalhousie… He is currently  teaching at E. Pictou Middle School.
