After a 5-0
start to the 2009-10 campaign, the blue and
white got a giant wakeup call from the McMaster
Marauders in the form of an 88-54 thrashing.
"It was like we were in quicksand and Mac was
moving at 70MPH" according to Coach Konchalski.
"Mac is a team firing on all cylinders right
now, with lopsided wins over Ottawa, UQAM and
now us". At this point in the season, it
appears that Mac is one of the elite teams in
the country.
A long day
may have contributed to X' issues, but the team
was never able to compete and trailed by as many
as 43 points in the contest. For the first
time in recent memory, X had no one score in
double figures, with Jeremy Dunn leading the way
with 9 points and 7 boards. Again,
turnovers were a huge issue with X committing
33.
Hopefully,
this game was a call to action for this young X
team. X plays a good Brock Badgers team
tonight at 7PM Eastern.
