A native of Havana, Cuba, Alberto came to Canada three years ago and established himself as one of the best big men in Ontario, earning All-District honours at St. Mary’s HS in Kitchener as well as Athlete of the Year (2005) and All-Around Student of the Year in 2006...participated in the Cuban Youth National Team program from 1996-1999...Alberto is an athletic forward who is a strong offensive rebounder.
