Garry Gallimore scored 26 points and Neil MacDonald
scored 23 as the X-Men got a 82-67 win over Memorial.
This game was definitely closer than the final score
would indicate. In fact, the X-Men trailed in the
game until early in the second half.
The game started with the X-Men being flat while the the
Seahawks came out hitting on all cylinders. MUN
was hot from 3 point range and built a lead of up to 10
points in the first half. X closed the gap to 4 at
the half. X started the second half by going o a
11-3 run and never trailed again. Memorial stayed
close until the final 3 minutes when X pulled away.
Garry Gallimore was an offensive force for the blue and
white (26 points, hitting a couple of 3s but doing
most of his damage on drives to the hoop.
