X-Men get past Panthers
The blue and white got back in the win column
with a 63-57 victory over the UPEI Panthers. The X-Men, who dropped
their first regular season contest of the season at UPEI last week, were
led by Neil MacDonald's 13 point and 14 rebound double double.
MacDonald's rebound total included an incredible 10 offensive boards.
Zach Russell contributed 11 points, Gary Gallimore 9 and Ed Reynolds 8.
The Panthers were led by Engen Nurumbi with 18 points and Sherone Edwards
with 16. Neither team shot the ball well at 37 and 38 percent for X
and PEI respectively. X out-rebounded the Panthers by a margin of 39 to
33.
