Assistant Coach

 A former AUS all-star in the mid-1980’s, Brent is in his first year as Coach K’s assistant after serving16 years as the Head Coach of Cobequid Education Centre in Truro. During that time his teams qualified for the Provincial Tournament 13 times and 10 of his players have gone on to play at the CIS level. As a player he was known for his shooting ability and hard-nosed defense. He won MVP of the 1985 Eastern Regional tournament and in 1987, after battling back from knee surgery, he represented Canada at the World University Games in Yugoslavia. He and his wife Manon (StFX grad) have one son, Jaxon, 11, and reside in Truro.
