Assistant Coach/Academic Advisor

A native of North Bay, ON, Denton enters his fourth year teaching in the Business Administration faculty at StFX and his first year as part of the X-Men coaching staff.  He previously coached youth teams to city and regional titles in Northern Ontario, as well as serving as a regional coach with the Ontario Basketball Association where he coached his Bantam team to an OBA silver medal.  Denton also was head coach at Canadore College (North Bay) for three years.  He and his wife Tahnee have three young children, Sam (4), Sydney (2) and new arrival Ben.
